El Tejado Hotel Suchitoto, Suchitoto

I had a lovely stay at this hotel nestled in Suchitoto. The view from the restaurant and pool overlooking the rainforest and lake is absolutely breathtaking. While the rooms are quite adequate and comfortable, I did face a minor hot water issue that was resolved quickly. Overall, it’s a charming place with beautiful grounds and a nice restaurant, though a small fridge in the room would have been a nice touch.

El Tejado is a beautiful hotel just a few blocks from the main square in Suchitoto, featuring spacious and clean rooms plus a stunning pool area. The view of Suchitlán Lake from the restaurant is absolutely breathtaking, especially during breakfast. Although the rooms are comfortable, I wish there had been a fridge included. Overall, it's an excellent choice for a relaxing stay, but not having a fridge in the room was a slight letdown.
